Emulous contracting was founded by Andrew Torres, who was born and raised in Sacramento, California, and graduated from Foothill High School in 2003. Shortly after, he joined the U.S. Army, serving five years with the 82nd Airborne Division. Rising to the rank of Sergeant, he completed two tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq before retiring due to combat-related injuries. As a 100% disabled veteran, Andrew has carried the discipline and resilience from his military service into his entrepreneurial ventures.
After the Army, Andrew relocated to Denver, Colorado, where he has built a life rooted in business and community. A proud homeowner in Southwest Denver, he shares his space with his two German Shepherds and is an active animal advocate, volunteering with a local dog rescue.
With over 14 years of experience in the contracting industry, Andrew is the owner of an exterior contracting company, specializing in roofing, siding, and insurance restoration projects. In addition, he runs a successful rental business, offering short-term rentals and 4×4 vehicle rentals. As a passionate vehicle enthusiast, he enjoys working on and investing in unique rides.
When he’s not growing his businesses, Andrew enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and sports. Looking ahead, his goal is to expand his real estate portfolio and continue building successful short-term rental properties.
